Short tunic with long sleeves and v-neck made of burnished silk black indigo panels as well as homespun cotton pieced together. The sleeves terminate in narrow bands of red, yellow, black, and white continuous supplementary warp weaving. The side panels are embellished with matching rectangles of abstract, geometric patterns executed in red, orange, and green and accented in black bordered with alternating green and orange key designs. These panels are surmounted on both sides by narrow cotton rectangles dyed with blue indigo. The front and back central borders feature finely woven, abstracted, confronting dragons in magenta, yellow, green and white on a black background along with small human figures woven in. This panel is also separated from the black silk body by two stripes of indigo cotton. Neckline and seams are defined with simple embroidery.
Small pieces of tan thread sewn on both sleeves showing evidence of further decoration could have been tied or anchored to the piece.
