Swordlike form made of carved wood and completely covered in tight rows of beads. White beads comprise the background and polychrome beads of red, blue, amber, green, yellow and orange create stripes, geometric patterns and embellish the tips. Fancy beadweaving creates a rich textural surface on the sword blade and handle. A double strand of multicolor beads is attached to the bottom of the base. Such wands were used for dramatic effect in ceremonial dancing.
